Tallinn is no longer the merely “ex-Soviet outpost” that we knew and loved; cultured, confident and consumer-centric, Estonians are now revelling as part of the new, “new” Europe despite the despicable arrogance of their near-neighbour Finns. Fancy snow in April? Visit Tallinn! More here.

snippets about this place:

  • people here speak in stacatto
  • most have a rounded face
  • they do not sell bbq crisps (the only 3 flavours are cream, spring onion & cheese)
  • they are really friendly
  • russians are still considered a lower specimen of people
  • most of the girls are pretty; some are stunning
  • don’t fret, there is an Irish pub that screens live football matches
  • the best radio station is on 88.8 FM; but, no kidding, people love Freddie Mercury
  • recommended hotels

UniqueStay is a clean, comfortable nest. Modern, functional, and net-enabled. How straight is this hotel? Put it this way, there wasn’t a hooker in sight and the dodgiest character around was yours truly.
